Spenser Santos
Medievalist and Translator
Spenser completed their MFA in Literary Translation and PhD in English Literature at the University of Iowa in 2019. Since then, Spenser has worked as a Visiting Assistant Professor for the University of Iowa's English department and is currently an independent scholar.
Spenser's next major project centers around the subject of Beowulfiana, particularly the ways Grendel's Mother is represented in various adaptations and translations of the poem.
